Here we go again with some fresh new tunes and a third data release.
This time, it seems Release II contained less bugs than the first one,
so this release fixes very few problems (see the Todo_News.txt file for
a list of them) and contains mainly new conversions.
Amongst the new tunes, you will find classic authors such as Barry Leitch,
Jochen Hippel, Dave Lowe, ..., as well as some more rare tunes from ACC
(from the SynthSample music disks), Stefan Jeworowski (Spherical author),
another one from Tim Follin (I thought all Follin tunes were ripped, but
it seems I was wrong) and some quite hard to convert from Keith Tinman or
MidWinter II (these tunes used short addr. mode).
You will also find the ultra classic tunes from the B.I.G. Demo.
Total number of files is now 1371, for a total of 11 094 400 bytes.
Nothing to add for the moment ; next release should contains all tunes from
Jess / Overlanders, the remaining Synth Samples tunes as well as many other
ones (it will depends on the game/demos I find here and there ...). No doubt
I should manage getting 200 or 300 new ones since there.
A special thank to all the people who sent me emails and especially to
Grazey from PHF.
Don't hesitate to send me bug reports or tunes to convert, and keep on
listening to real synth tunes from the golden days.
